Community Guidelines

Last updated: July 27, 2026

These Guidelines define the rules and recommended behavior within Anonymate to ensure a safe experience. The App runs on the decentralized Nostr network and has no central moderation.

Nature of the Community

All content (posts, chats, groups, communities) is generated directly by users. Quest Studio Games neither hosts nor controls this data: public content is distributed across independent third-party relays we do not operate, and private messages are end-to-end encrypted.

Individual Responsibility

Each user is the only party legally responsible for the content they create or share. It is the user's obligation to comply with applicable laws; harmful or illegal behavior is attributable solely to whoever generates it.

Access and Participation

Participation in groups and communities is always voluntary. While private groups require an invitation, public posts and communities are accessible to all users who knowingly accept these guidelines.

Recommended Behavior

For a civil coexistence, we encourage users to:

  • Show respect toward all participants.
  • Avoid spreading offensive, discriminatory or illegal content.
  • Actively use the control tools the app provides.
Important: The App cannot filter content published by other clients on the network, but it checks your own media on your device before publication and provides local tools to limit exposure to whatever the user considers unwanted.

Protection of Minors

Sharing content that endangers minors is strictly prohibited. Anonymate is reserved for users who are at least 18 years old: use by anyone under 18 is not permitted, and the App performs a neutral age check at registration.

Before an image or a video leaves your device, the App analyses it locally: a nudity classifier (a neural network running on the device) blocks explicit nudity, a perceptual fingerprint is compared against a reference list of known harmful media bundled with the App, and the caption is checked for wording that combines minors with sexual or coercive context. Nothing is uploaded for analysis and no third-party scanning service is involved. These checks reduce the amount of harmful material that reaches the network but are not a guarantee, as they cannot inspect content published by other clients.

Local Control Tools

Every user has the power to manage their own experience through:

  • Mute: Hides the posts and updates of a specific user.
  • Block user: Prevents any interaction with a specific user.
  • Hide post: Removes a single post from your feed.
  • Report: Signals inappropriate content to the moderators of the community concerned.

Reports are published as signed events on the Nostr network and reach the owner and moderators of the community concerned, who review them in the in-app moderation dashboard. Because of the decentralized structure of the app, they are not transmitted to Quest Studio Games: to report illegal content, write to support@queststudiogames.com.

Updates

Quest Studio Games reserves the right to update these guidelines. Continued use of the App implies acceptance of the updated terms.
