Nature of the Service
Anonymate is a communication application built on Nostr, a decentralized protocol. Quest Studio Games operates no central content server: public content (posts, comments, groups and communities) is published to and stored on independent third-party servers ("relays") that the developer does not own or control, while private messages are end-to-end encrypted so that only the sender and recipient can read them.
Some features, such as nearby chat, connect participants' devices directly over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
No Hosting or Moderation
Quest Studio Games does not host, control, filter or moderate the content generated by users. The App provides only the technical tool for direct communication. As a result, the developer cannot intervene on the content transmitted or verify its nature.
The App does run automated safety checks on your own device before an image or a video is published or sent — a local nudity classifier, a perceptual fingerprint compared against a reference list of known harmful media, and an analysis of the caption. These checks apply only to media leaving your device: they do not extend to content published by other clients, and no media is uploaded to Quest Studio Games or to a third-party service for analysis.
User Responsibility
Each user is the sole and total party responsible for the content they create, transmit, publish or view. The user agrees to use the App in compliance with applicable laws, acknowledging that any improper use falls under their own legal responsibility.
Public Content
The public features allow access to content generated by third parties. Such content:
- Is not moderated or verified.
- Can be interrupted by the user at any time.
The user accesses these sections knowingly, using the local controls (Mute, Block, Hide post, Report) provided by the interface.
Limitation of Liability
Quest Studio Games is not responsible for user content or behavior, nor for damages resulting from use of the App or malfunctions of the network or connections. Use of the App is at the user's sole risk.
Reports and Control
When you report a post, the app publishes a signed report event (NIP-56) on the Nostr network. Reports reach the owner and moderators of the community concerned, who see them in the in-app moderation dashboard, and a post that passes a report threshold is hidden automatically on your device.
Because Quest Studio Games operates no central server, reports are not delivered to the developer and do not imply any action by the developer on the decentralized network. Minors
Anonymate is reserved for users who are at least 18 years old. During registration the App performs a neutral age check; the date of birth entered is never stored or transmitted, only the outcome of the check remains on the device. Use by anyone under 18 is not permitted.
Changes
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes automatic acceptance of the new conditions.
